How to create a Segment Data Source

1. After logging into the CDP 365 system, find the menu on the left side of the screen.

2. Hover the mouse over Data app for a popup menu to appear, then click Sources.

3. In My Datasource, select the icon and click on Batch.

4. Select CDP Segment connector.

5. Authenticate by using your CDP login credentials, and input the name of the datasource.

6. Select a portal that you want to connect to, then click the Validate button.

7. Select the Visitor or Customer data object containing the list of segments you want to use.

8. Click on the Next button.

9. Select the field you need from the Visitor or Customer data object that you have selected. Afterwards, you can click the Save button to finish creating the datasource.

10. (Optional) Move to the next tab to change the access settings and notification settings as you want. Then, click the Save button to finish creating the datasource.
