Add pages and report navigation
Learn how to create multipage reports in Insights.
Use multiple pages in your reports to organize related charts, minimize the complexity of any given page, improve performance, and avoid "information overload" for your viewers.
Add pages to a report
On the right panel, click on + Add button
Navigate between pages
To move between report pages:
Use the page navigation to jump to a specific page.
Note: in Edit mode, page navigation appears on the left as a drop-down menu. Navigation in View mode depends on the Navigation type property set for the report.
Use the Add Link feature in Text component.
In the Properties panel of Text component, click on Add/ Remove Link
In Add link pop up, select on Dynamic page links/ Page in this report. Click on dropdown list and select option relevant.
(1) Dynamic pages links: Dynamic links navigate to pages in the report based on their position:
First: goes to the first page in the report.
Previous: goes to the page before the current page, if any.
Next: goes to the page after the current page, if any.
Last: navigates to the last page in the report.
If you reorder the pages in the report, dynamic links adjust so as to point to the new pages occupying the first, last, next, and previous positions.
(2) Page in this report: Select the specific page name to which you want to link. If you reorder the pages in the report, the link continues to point to the selected page.
Rename, duplicate, remove, or hide a page
Click Page __ of __ in the toolbar to open the Report pages panel.
Hover over a specific item.
Select the action you want to do:
Rename a page
New pages and sections have the default name of "Untitled Page" and "Untitled Section" while headers have the default name "Header". Select Rename, then enter a better name.
Duplicate a page
Duplicating a page creates a copy of that page in the current report. You can't duplicate an entire section.
Remove a page
Deleting a page, section, or navigation item removes it from the report.
Reorder pages
As an alternative to the Move option you can quickly change the order of items in the Report pages panel by dragging them into a new position with your mouse.
Click Page __ of __ in the toolbar to open the Report pages panel.
Hover over the item you wish to move.
Use the move option on the left of the item to drag it up or down to its new position.
