Destinations

I - Introduction

Destinations are the outputs of a marketing campaign. Whether you want to approach your customers/ visitors via Email, SMS or any other channels, Destination app could meet your demand.

You are able to connect CDP 365 with the vendor you are currently using by filling in the authentication information.

Also, you could decide which type of audiences would receive marketing messages through this channel.

A destination created here will be used in the Destination node of a Customer Journey.

II - Destination list

When opening Destination app, you can see two separate area:

  1. The list of channels

  2. The list of destination with the chosen corresponding channel

The data table includes these following columns:

  • Status: You can click the Switch button to change the status of a destination

  • Name: The name of the destination

  • Catalog: The catalog (the vendor) which a destination belongs to (Eg: For Email channel, you could have G Suite Email catalog, Mailchimp catalog, Mailjet catalog)

  • Channel: The channel which the destination belongs to (Eg: Email, App Notification, Whatsapp)

  • Created by: The account which created the destination

  • Created on: The date that a destination was created

  • Last modified by: The account that last edit the destination

  • Last modified on: The date that the destination was last edited

III - Destination details

To see the detailed information of a Destination, click on its name in the data table.

The details of each destination includes 2 tabs:

1. Setting: The config information of the destination

  • General Information - The basic identified information (Name, Description, Type, etc)

  • Configure fields - The authentication information to connect CDP 365 with a vendor

  • General Settings - The Frequency Capping and Limit of the Destination

2. Delivery Log

Each time a message was sent to an audience from the chosen destination used in a Customer Journey, it creates a Process ID.

Delivery Log presents all of process created from many Journey which used the destination by charts and table.
